Travel to Mull from the mainland is by one of the two ferry crossings. The main one being from Oban to Craignure which is about 40 minutes but be at the ferry terminal at least 30 minutes before the sailing time and booking on this trip is essential. The other route is from Loch Aline on the Morvan peninsular to Fishnish this crossing is a fair bit cheaper and you don't have to book.
