Travel to Mull from the mainland is by one of the two ferry crossings.

The main one being from Oban to Craignure which is about 40 minutes but be at the ferry terminal at least 30 minutes before the sailing time and booking on this trip is essential.

The other route is from Loch Aline on the Morvan peninsular to Fishnish this crossing is a fair bit cheaper and you don't have to book.

Once on Mull and leave the ferry terminal you turn left onto the 849 and embark on a magical trip towards Bunessan and just before you enter the village of Bunessan you turn right onto the Ardtun road, After one mile you see a telephone box on your left and Keills cottage is the next cottage on your right (about quarter mile)

Keills cottage is grid ref NM 395-232 on the Ordinance survey landranger 48 map.
